This is a fantastic easy read that keeps you glued to the pages from beginning to end.The characters are well rounded and the plot is brilliantly executed with a lot of unforeseen twists and turns. The end is completely unexpected and leaves the reader holding their breath in anticipation of an ending that remains unsure until the last word is read. This is a very fast paced story that leaves you reeling from one page to the next - a book that I cannot recommend highly enough!I chose to review a [...]

An Exceptional piece of fiction! All I can tell you is that it's way past my bedtime, and I'm totally amazed at what I read. IMO, this was a well-developed piece of fiction that was chock full of delicious drama, romance, and mystery. This author is a true gem, and she definitely has the passion coupled with an amazing talent for writing, that I haven't seen since JD Robb's earlier days.Giving this one: 5 humongous stars!

What a roller coaster ride! This book had me running a gambit of feelings. I was nervous and scared wondering what would happen next. The high drama along with the suspense was well written. Anytime an author can make the reader go through those emotions is a mark of a good writer. This story was about life of a reservation police officer and his life in turmoil with his daughter and fiance and what he was willing to do to make sure they were safe. John Iron Hawk was the typical stoic man who foun [...]

Lakota Blood Moon can be categorized as a romantic suspense. Police Captain John Hawk and Zora Hughes are featured as the love interest. Their story is not typical, nor is the setting, an Indian Reservation. Throw in a psychopathic killer on the loose, and you have one heck of a story. The side characters are dynamic and help to advance the storyline. There is potential there for another book. I enjoyed this story, and I recommend it.

Edgy loveJohn was an interesting character, one could tell he wanted love, but there was always something holding him back. When Laurie called John 'daddy' she was his little girl all over again. Super happy for Zora, she found peace with her family history and found a new family to start a new journey with.

I need more John and Zora are now my favorite couple. Loved reading about them. This book is a must read. Thank you Ms Gillam for sharing such an interesting story.

A well written detective novel, the story starts slowly with cases to be solved but remote enough for Captain John Iron Hawk to keep his emotional distance. However, the story escalates when the two women in his life are kidnapped and their lives are in danger. What started as an investigation escalates to a high risk, life and death scenario. John, a man of few words, is unable to express his love for the people who are most important in his life, and as a result almost loses them. Set in a res [...]

As with the previous two books in the Lakota series, Constance Gilliam has done an outstanding job reintroducing readers to main characters John and Zora, while keeping us riveted with the plot, suspense and action. While enjoying the story, I did find quite a few editing errors, several of which confused me because I was unable to determine the author's intent. But being invested in the story, I set that aside and finished, satisfied and eager to read another sequel, if Constance Gilliam writes [...]

I don't think that I have read a book so fast. I just had to know what happened and I refused to cheat. I loved the well rounded characters. The plot line was different from other books I've read Thoroughly enjoyed this story. This is a fair review for an e book supplied by the publisher.

Let me begin by saying this book was absolutely a fantastic and interesting read from the story line, to the characters, especially John Hawk. This is the first book I’ve read in this series and by this author and I totally want to read more. I was so into Lakota Blood Moon that you wouldn’t have been able to pry it from my hands if you tried. It has almost everything I love in a book, like romance, action, and suspense. Zara and John’s chemistry was undeniable and that alone kept me hooke [...]
