3.5 starsThis is a cute book. Don’t expect it to blow your mind though. But it has a cute dog in it, that counts for something.Christopher goes home one day to find his apartment door open and his dog, Frost, missing. It’s a year later when he sees his dog again. Doyle adopted the dog, Jack, after the death of his husband. When the two meet, they know they have a problem. Both are reluctant to part with their dog, but they also know they can’t have him both. When the two spend some more tim [...]

A dog!!! Ok, just a small one, but neverthelessYes, that was a very nice, feel-good story! Pacing was fitting, nothing over the top, yes I liked it a lot.

Awww this was just such a sweet book. I loved how Frost set Christopher and Doyle up because you know he did, hehe. Dogs are smarter than we think ;-)

Some stories just get to me, in the best way, and this is definitely one of them. Not a huge surprise, since I love Ben's work, and like many of his books, this one is a gem. Christopher and Doyle both suffer so much heartache, both love their dog to pieces, and are definitely meant to be together. But they also face some huge obstacles - most of their own making - and it takes them quite a while to figure things out. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but it did make me suffer right along wit [...]

This story was divine, such a sweet lovely story.I have seeing lately so many dark plots about abused, rape, cheating, torture it's a relief that some authors are still writing this kind of stories .Just 2 beautiful characters falling in love and having a delightful HEA.Perhaps too simple for some, for me it was freaking perfect!

*4.5 stars * What a feel good story! This is like eating a nice warm piece of apple pie with ice cream. This book contains one older silver fox recovering from the loss of his husband of 20 years, one younger sexy man who can't find love and the almost too adorable ball of fluff who brings them together. If you're looking for something short and sweet and feel good (with a dab of sexiness), this may be for you.

So deliciously sweet! Once I started reading I couldn't put the book down to the last word was read.

A Joyfully Jay review. 4.25 starsThis is just a sweet and gentle story. There is just enough time to get a sense of both men as well as one fluffy white dog. Christopher is 29 to Doyle’s 44. His choices in men and the eventual demise of his relationships have left him wary of dating. He dotes on Frost and when Frost goes missing, Christopher’s heart is broken. Doyle’s heart is already broken due to the death of his partner and a sweet, lonely dog becomes his lifeline. The story revolves aro [...]

“I found you, in the darkest hour when I was all in need and your love pulled me back again. Found you in a river of pure emotions. I found you, my only truth. I was lost til I found you.” ~ The Wanted (I Found You)Christopher, of 'Until I Found You' by B.G. Thomas, is discouraged after his last bad breakup. Christopher decides he is going to swear off dating for a while until he can get over his heartache, possibly even forever. He goes to the pound and adopts a little dog and names him Fro [...]

REVIEWED FOR PRISM BOOK ALLIANCE4.5 StarsFantastic short story from B G Thomas.Christopher didn’t think his life could get much worse after he ended his first real relationship, where they actually lived together, until he came home from work to find his beloved dog Frost missing. He searches the streets and he hangs up flyers but all to no avail, then he grieves.Doyle is a character that really got to me. His husband had been ill on and off for many years and has sadly just died. Doyle’s gr [...]

Christopher is devastated when he finds his little Pomeranian Frost is missing. After a bad break-up, Christopher poured all his love on that little dog, and now he's gone.A year later, Christopher is walking in the park when he comes across Frost again, only now the little dog is named Jack, and his adoptive owner, Doyle. This was super cute for the most part, and a bit heavy in some others. Doyle's grief after losing his husband was palpable and jumped right off the pages, and both men carry a [...]

I just got finished with some real stinkers. I will also confess, I was expecting another stinker because the last 4 were various degrees of horrible. My rating scale in Calibre is -10 to 10. Those 4 books rated -5 to -10.This book surprised me. It was funny, heart warming and the characters were interesting. It rates a 4 on here. Almost a 5. The characters were well developed and well rounded. It was easy to care for them and invest in their emotional well being. I even found myself laughing or [...]

This was an adorable and witty story, I loved it :). I'm not a pet person, but Jack/Frost was enchanting and the perfect catalyst for the two male leads to show their characters, charm, heartbreaks, and hopeful new love. BG's style is immensely readable and never trite - the many flashes of humour in the men's internal monologues had me chuckling! It didn't matter that I knew what was coming in the story - the fun was watching it happen. Highly recommended.

Excellent! An excellent short story. I loved how the author used a lovable dog to bring two wonderful people together. Great job!

Honestly, I think I might be giving this an extra star because of the lovable Frost (or Jack). Cute novella about two people who meet because of a Pomeranian who they they try to "share."

I have enjoyed a great many stories by BG Thomas, so it was inevitable that I would read his contribution to Dreamspinner Press' 2015 Daily Dose 'Never Too Late'. I'm a firm believer, based on my own love story, that it really is never too late for love and romance. 'Until I Found You' is just another shining example of why.I would've reacted exactly the same way Christopher did upon coming home and discovering his front door unlocked, and Frost, his white Pomeranian gone. The fact that Christop [...]

A short and sweet story by B.g. Thomas…“Until I Found You” is a story that deals with loss in different ways. Christopher is a young history teacher who ends a terrible relationship he‘s been in for months. It makes him more reluctant to start dating again, but his focus turns to his white Pomeranian, Frost. Frost becomes Christopher’s whole world and pride and joy. Christopher is heartbroken when he returns home one day and Frost is missing. After weeks of searching with no sign of Fr [...]

*This book was given to me by the publisher in exchange for an honest review*Puppies!Who can resist a good story about two men and their puppy? Christopher has just broken up with his boyfriend; and let me tell ya, he's the worst kind of person. I really really really was disappointed that they didn't see him a year later and rub it in that he was happy and healthy and in love AND had his dog back; because the ex obviously had something to do with his running away. It was just heartbreaking too, [...]

Okay, so here’s another story where I struggled with the rating. 3 or 4 stars? I enjoyed the story. Again, it was simple, and I had a hard time getting into the characters heads, even though the story was from both points of view. What made me go for 3 rather than 4 stars was the incessant repetition of a few words. While Christopher had him, the dog’s name was Frost. While Doyle had him, his name was Jack. Now that the dog has both of them, what do they call/refer to him as? At first it was [...]

Warning…Have some tissue handy. This is such a beautiful story first of loss. Christopher has lost his fist live in boyfriend but realizes it’s for the best. Then he comes home a week after Graham has moved out and finds his beloved dog Frost gone. He searches and searches to no avail.Doyle has just lost his husband of over twenty years and something leads him to the local pet shop. He is about to leave when the lady introduces him to a poor dog about to die from grief. It won’t respond to [...]

I was looking through my news feed on Facebook and saw someone mention this book and since I’m a sucker for a sweet love story, I decided to give it a try. I wasn’t disappointed.Until I Found You is the first book I’ve read by B.G. Thomas. It turned out to be a sweet story between an older man who thought he’d met and lost his only love, a younger man who lost hope in love and a match-making dog. Tears, smiles, second chances and adorable dog? What more could you want from a summer read? [...]
